Damithia Nieves (she/they), Thrive Yoga Founder, is a dedicated practitioner, educator and tenacious advocate of self-care, community care, and disrupting dominant narratives that derail our personal growth and healing.
She is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, certified children’s yoga teacher, and trauma informed restorative practice facilitator. Agi Brown (she/they), Thrive Yoga Project Coordinator, is an adult and youth yoga instructor, teaching kids’ yoga, meditation, and mindfulness to public school students in the PNW. Since 2012 she has completed several yoga trainings incorporating social justice and trauma-informed practices for all ages. Agi has a dedicated yoga practice using tools to help discover and release trauma, hold oneself and others with compassion, and become grounded and centered. She firmly believes everyone has the right to heal and feel joy.
