Classes
Tiny Yogis
Even as young as 2, children learn real benefits of simple practices such taking deep breaths to help themselves feel calm and focused or different breaths that help to wake us up. Yoga and mindfulness classes are available for children under 5 in child care/preschool settings, community centers, day camps and small group sessions.
Yoga in Schools: During, Before, After

Children from elementary thru high school can benefit from a yoga and mindfulness practices and offering in a school setting poses unique benefits including improved ability to learn, reduced test anxiety, improved social skills and more. Classes can be tailored to support Health S.E.L and S.T.E.M curriculum. Before school provides stimulation so students arrive in class ready to learn after-school offers a transition from school to the rest of the day allowing students to unload and unwind before heading home. Classes can be held in just about any space and in time increments of 20, 40, or 60 minutes. After school programs are typically 60- 90 min.
Seva: Giving Back
Service to the community and increasing the accessibility of yoga to all people is a core value of my life and practice. Currently this is being achieved through two channels. Partnering with Title 1 schools and local organizations to bring yoga to youth, and pop-up yoga classes that are free to the community. I am currently partnering with Urban Family to bring yoga to their afterschool program running at Creston point apartments. This program runs at no charge to the organization or the families.
If you are involved with a non-profit or title 1 school that you would like to bring yoga and mindfulness to, feel free to contact me.
And stay tuned for a schedule of up coming free community yoga classes this summer!
